Second Star to the Right takes on the classic tale of Peter Pan and the Darling childrens' various adventures with him and the Lost Boys. This marching band show offers a brief, yet comprehensive overview of some of these story's finest moments, including the journey to Neverland, the magical world itself with its various scenic locales, and even some of its fiercest adversaries too.
It was an honor to have been asked to contribute music for the second and fourth tunes for this show, which includes the wonders of Neverland as well as a finale revisiting all of the show's major themes. Fellow composer and colleague Caleb Hammer has provided some fantastic material for the journey to Neverland and its fierce pirates, which ultimately gave me a plethora of opportunities to fashion a spirited, uplifting, and show-stopping ending for J.M. Barrie's timeless world.
